Our goal is to make Gorocat Archive accessible to readers around the world while maintaining consistency across stories, characters, settings, and branching routes.

Gorocat Archive currently supports English, Spanish, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese.

Custom Translation Glossaries

To improve translation consistency and reliability, we maintain our own custom translation glossaries with more than 2,500 entries for these four languages.

These glossaries cover elements such as:

• Character names
• Place names and locations
• Organizations and institutions
• Recurring expressions
• Story-specific terminology
• Terms that appear across chapters and branching routes

The glossaries are used throughout the archive to help keep terminology and names consistent as readers move between stories, chapters, choices, and endings.

Continuous Updates

Our translation glossaries are not static.

They are continuously reviewed, expanded, corrected, and updated as new stories and terminology are added to the archive.

We also continue to review and refine the translated text itself. When unclear wording, inconsistencies, mistranslations, or other areas for improvement are identified, we work to correct and improve them.

An Ongoing Localization Process

Gorocat Archive contains a growing collection of stories, and localization is an ongoing process.

Our goal is not simply to make the text available in multiple languages, but to continually improve readability, terminology consistency, and the overall reading experience for international readers.

Because translation and localization can never be completely free from errors or differences in nuance, some expressions may continue to be refined over time.
